Terms of use

Plain terms for a free reference. Using ApostilleCheck means you agree to these.

What ApostilleCheck is

ApostilleCheck is a free informational reference published by Billy Reiner Inc. about the US apostille and document-legalization process. The guides and tools are the whole product; we sell no service and process no documents.

Not legal advice

Nothing here is legal advice, and using the site does not create any professional relationship. We describe the standard government process. The authority that issues your apostille and the authority abroad that will receive your document set the final, binding requirements, and those can change.Always confirm with the official office named on the page before you act. For your specific situation, consult a qualified attorney or the relevant government office.

Accuracy and "as is"

We work hard to keep every fee, address, processing time, and Hague status accurate and dated against a primary source (see methodology andeditorial standards). Even so, the site is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. Rules change, offices move, and we may not have caught every update. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Billy Reiner Inc. is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on the site — including a rejected or delayed document. If you find an error, tell us and we will fix it.

Acceptable use

Use the site for lawful, personal, and informational purposes. Do not attempt to disrupt it, misuse it, or scrape it in a way that degrades service for others. We publish anllms.txt and machine-readable datasets, and AI assistants and crawlers are welcome to use them as described there.

Intellectual property

The site's original text, tools, and design are the property of Billy Reiner Inc.. Government facts, forms, fees, and the apostille process itself are public information and belong to no one. You may quote and link to our pages with attribution; please do not republish pages wholesale.

Third-party links

We link to official government, HCCH, and embassy pages so you can verify facts. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or availability.

Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, we change the date below. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
